The challenge
The firm needed its clients' monthly financial packages prepared and checked before they reached the end client, without adding headcount on its own side.
What we did
- Prepare a monthly Master Financials package for each of the firm's clients in QuickBooks, alongside a QC workbook and a monthly checklist
- Independent controller review on every package against the prior period and the client's standing instructions, with a clear send-or-hold call
- Route recommendations and reports to the firm's own reviewers first, so nothing goes to their client before the firm signs off
The result
Each client's monthly package now reaches the firm only after a documented controller review, and the firm stays the face to its clients.
